Ink Drift
For years I’ve been filling notebooks with random shapes, lines, and little sketches.
It’s something I’ve done since forever.
Usually I finish one field notebook per week.
This week’s notebook had square pages, so I started drawing shapes like I always do. As always I had this though of those shapes actually moving and interacting but this time I just said “Why the fuck not?”
So I made a video game.
It’s a small space mining / shooting / exploring game where you fly what you draw, paper is the universe, and ink is everything.
This is still just a working prototype.
There are tons of features I’d love to add someday, but they’re not on the priority list right now.
For now I just wanted to share this little notebook universe with the world.
You are a capsule core drifting through hostile space.
Everything else, you build.
Attach modules. Expand your ship. Choose your path.
Will you become a mining vessel?
A combat predator?
An exploration machine?
Or something in between?
Every module changes how your ship behaves.
Mass, power, layout, everything matters.
This is not a scripted experience.
It’s a sandbox built around survival and experimentation.
This release is for testing and feedback.
The long-term vision is a deep systems-driven space game where ship design directly impacts survival and strategy.
This prototype is the foundation.
